Winner of Rio Tinto's iron ore supplier recognition program award

19-05-2010

Crushing & Mining Equipment (CME), a Division of H-E Parts International, supplies crusher replacement parts for all makes and types of crushing equipment and wear liners, as well as providing engineering services and crushing and screening equipment.

The award is in recognition of CME's groundbreaking work in extending the life of liners in crushers – a critical factor in the operations of hard rock mines and quarries.

David Davenport, chief executive of CME and a director of H-E Parts Australia, said the award was a reflection of the close working relationship that had been built with the Rio Tinto operations over the past 10 years.

'This co-operative relationship has enabled us to provide the best solutions and long-term value to Rio Tinto's iron ore operations,' he said.

'I am thrilled for our team at CME. We have a group of professionals committed to customer service and excellence, and our recognition by Rio Tinto is an indication of our continuing efforts to improve the performance of our products.

'We are able to achieve this performance through our unique liner wear prediction and profile modelling software – complementing the world-class liners manufactured by our supplier, Yoonsteel Malaysia,' said Davenport.

H-E Parts International (www.h-epartsinternational.com) is one of the world's largest independent supplier of parts, new and remanufactured components, equipment and solutions to the global mining, quarry and heavy construction industries.

'We are delighted to have the excellent value delivered by one of our companies recognised by Rio Tinto,' said JP Richard, CEO of H-E Parts International. 'And we are grateful for the opportunities to provide our services to customers such as Rio Tinto.'
